John Seed is a painter, writer, and independent curator who contributed over 350 blogs to the HuffingtonPost Arts and Culture page between 2010 and 2017. Known for his direct and engaging style, Seed became an important voice in the evolving conversation about contemporary representational painting. Seed has also blogged for Hyperallergic.com, contributed articles to print magazines including Art Ltd., Arts of Asia, Catamaran, and Harvard Magazine, and appeared in the Google Arts and Culture video series Name That Art.
