Nov. 2018. Taking park in the group show, ‘Disrupted Realism II’, at Stanek Gallery, Philadelphia, PA. At the opening John Seed will be signing his book ‘Disrupted Realism - Paintings for a Distracted World’, which I am included in.
I have a piece in this fun show at Faultline Artspace, Oakland, CA, ‘Hands and Pants’ w. John Casey. A book is published with all the collaborations with John Casey.

CHRIS LEIB & REINER HANSEN: RETROSPECULATION

Chris Leib and Reiner Hansen are husband and wife. Reiner, a native of Denmark, met Chris at a portrait drawing session in San Francisco. From the outset, there was an uncanny similarity in their drawing and painting style, as well as subject matter. Retrospeculation is the first time they are presenting their work together in a two-person show, and the exhibit includes paintings and drawings completed over the past 20 years.
Note, I won’t be able to attend the reception, but hope you can.

I’ll be taking part in the group show ‘Single Fare’ at RH Gallery in New York along with many other artists, all creating works involving metro cards. Here’s my contribution… Oil on metro cards.

I was very happy to have received the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant 2012. As part of the grant is an exhibition with the other three grantees in September 2013 at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM), MA. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming show.

Group Show ‘One Hundred Dollars’ at Littlefields, Brooklyn
I will be part of this fun show “One Hundred Dollars” which features the works of 100 artists, all using a dollar bill as their canvas. Each of the original artworks will be on sale for $100. The show is curated by Andrew Smenos with Sergio Barrale. It’s on from tonight at Littlefield in Brooklyn.
